Bakmobiel

This four wheeled recumbent vehicle has been developed for VZW Den Achtkanter in Kortrijk, Belgium. This organization is providing work and satisfaction to the mentally challenged.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

They figured a human powered, electric assist velomobile would be a great way to deliver the products from their bakery to the neighbourhood, providing joy for the riders and publicity along the way. The project was partially funded by a national trust (Sinterklaasfonds) for its merits as a socially interactive concept.

At present the moulds are being machined. We will keep you posted. Spread the word!
